“This letter is a testament to the team at New Atlantic Contracting that worked on the new Christopher Guys Showroom…The challenges of new construction in an urban area are multiplied when added to the intrinsic challenges of the Furniture Market – that is – what it means to a tenant to be open and operational during the Furniture Market. New Atlantic Contracting was given a task to construct and make available a 20,000 SF building in the very visible main central business district of the Furniture Market. The challenge was made even more difficult by requiring the building to be open and ready for business in less than 7 months including sufficient time for the showrooms to be stocked with furniture, wall art, and home décor. This success story would not have happened without the dedication and commitment the team showed to not only the building Owner but also the international furniture manufacturer whose products would occupy the space.”

New Atlantic was selected along with Freeman Kennett Architects to construct a new 19,030 SF state-of-the-art showroom for Christopher Guy, an award-winning designer of luxury furniture. The 2-story, structural steel building is enveloped with EIFS and glass tile veneer in the front and rear entrances. Large windows in the front allow guests to have a nice view of the reflecting pool. An entertainment area and motor court are in the back area.
