David O. Walters, P.E.

Title: Chief Executive Officer

Dave has 35 years experience in the general contracting industry. Over 21 years had been with the same firm before Founding New Atlantic Contracting in 2002. He has held every position from Field Engineer to President and has been responsible for hundreds of projects totaling over $1 Billion in value.

Dave has been involved with a wide variety of construction projects including Healthcare, Institutional, Industrial, Church, Office, Historical Renovations, Manufacturing, Commercial, and Residential. Methods of contracting have included Fast-Track, Guaranteed Maximum Price, Lump Sum, Design/Build, and Construction Management.

As a registered Engineer, Dave is "hands-on" and enjoys the details. He coaches the New Atlantic Contracting team in Preconstruction and Planning and provides oversight to operations. He has been active in the Community and has been involved with AGC, Samaritan Ministries, and Rotary. Currently he serves on the Carolinas AGC/AIA Joint Committee.

·         Lake Norman Regional Medical Center - 108,000 SF, $25 Million
