Angela Hutchins

Title: Director of Business Development

Being a part of the construction industry for the last 22 years has given Angela great insight and hands-on knowledge of the daily field operations and business directives required to play a leading role in the success of a construction company. She has held various positions within the industry, but her strength lies in developing marketing strategies, client development, and building relationships.

Her construction experience consists of  spearheading new marketing initiatives for construction firms. Angela's experience with a variety of industry leaders and construction projects ranging from $1.1 Million to $70 Million each in value, in all types of construction, proves to be a powerful resource for our Clients and Associates. She is familiar with the challenges that Owners and Design Teams face during the planning and construction process and tailors our services, experience, and capabilities to fit their needs. Her expertise has carved out a place for our firm in the region, keeping us front and center of our targeted clients and catepulting us to compete against some of the largest and oldest constructions firms in the south.

Her focus at New Atlantic Contracting is University and Complex Institutional Projects, specifically those under the CM at RIsk Contracting Method.  Recent results of her efforts in this market for our team include:

In addition to her Marketing and Business Development role in the private sector, Angela also provides leadership and adminstrative support in the prequlaification process of some of our largest pursuits under the Single Prime Contracting Method.

Angela is very community conscious and has been involved with SCAN of Forsyth County, Habitat for Humanity, Greensboro Marketing Association, Carolinas AGC, and Campaign for Youth for the YMCA of Greater Winston-Salem.  She has also served on the Mayor of WS's Go Green committee for the City's Sustainable Community Initiative.She is also a member of the Society of Marketing Professionals and the Environmental and Governmental Issues Committee for Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce. 

Currently serves on the Board of Directors for Samaritan Ministries of Winston-Salem, Board of Directors - Immediate Past President '08 for NAIOP Piedmont Triad Chapter, and the UNC Chapel Hill HUB Advisory Council.

She attended Forsyth Technical Commuity College and High Point College focusing on Business Management and Marketing.
