Adam Callicutt's Journey with New Atlantic
Adam's commitment to New Atlantic actually began before he officially joined our team. Before becoming an employee, he supported our projects as both a subcontractor and a contract employee. He showed the same dedication and work ethic that have defined his career with us ever since.
His experience spans a wide variety of projects, reflecting the diversity of our company's portfolio. No matter the challenge, Adam has consistently delivered very successful results on the projects he has led. He has also stepped into critical situations on other projects time and again. When those teams needed leadership the most, he helped guide difficult situations across the finish line. These moments did not go unnoticed.
Leading North Mecklenburg High School
Today, Adam is leading the North Mecklenburg High School project, New Atlantic's largest contract to date. Managing a project of this magnitude is no small feat. Monthly billings routinely reach $8 to $10 million.
Adam often makes it look easy. But anyone who understands the complexity of construction knows the planning, coordination, and leadership required to sustain that pace month after month. His ability to lead field operations is exceptional.
He quickly earns the trust and respect of owners, designers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Ada does it by building strong relationships and consistently following through on his commitments. He brings that same leadership approach to his New Atlantic teammates, helping create strong, cohesive project teams.
Setting the Standard for Leadership
As our company continues to grow, we face the same challenge seen throughout our industry. We must prepare the next generation of leaders as experienced professionals retire. We called on our superintendents to step up and help shape the future of New Atlantic. Adam not only answered that call, but he exceeded it.
