Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools

New Atlantic constructed a new, 88,147 SF CMS Newell Elementary School Replacement project with architect Perkins Eastman. The design of the facility utilized the majority of the 22-acre site.

The existing site terrain has multiple peaks and valleys with elevations varying from 675 FT to 744 FT above sea level. To achieve final site grades removal of 78,000 CY of soils and 7 large site retaining walls were required. The school is home to 800 students.
