A high profile and community sensitive project, since the original school was built in the 1920s by the sons of Nancy Reynolds as a tribute to their mother’s dedication to Stokes County and the strong educational values it involved. New Atlantic performed demolition of the existing school, renovated the 1950s gym, and constructed this new school to closely resemble the original school. The building is a combination of load bearing masonry walls, structural steel frame, and a light gauge metal truss roof with shingles
and brick exterior.
