Located on 75-acres in rural Pittsboro, NC, this 213,000 SF high school is the largest ever completed by Chatham County Schools and has a student capacity of 1,400.

Site development features an onsite wastewater treatment system, wastewater containment, and a geothermal system. The geothermal system had 234 wells that are 500 feet deep; that is the length of 326 NFL football fields!

There are reserves of 15 acres for the onsite sanitary system spray field; this provides irrigation for landscaping and athletic fields and water for flushing the toilets and urinals in the building and toilet concession building. Over 700,000 cubic yards of dirt was moved.

Seaforth Hawks has a new stadium that welcomes 2,100 home fans and 900 visitors, new softball and baseball fields that accommodate 250 fans/visitors, and general athletic fields that host 200 fans/visitors.
