New Atlantic Connects with Future Talent at App State's Career Fair
What an energizing day we had at Appalachian State University's Construction Career Fair! Our team had a blast connecting with students and sharing our passion for building extraordinary projects.
The event was held at the Holmes Convocation Center, which felt extra special for us. Why? Because we recently completed the construction of the Holmes Convocation Center Parking Deck right across the street! It was pretty cool to chat with students about a project they could see and use right there on campus.
Our awesome team representing New Atlantic included:
Seth Hanner
Dylan Reed (proud App State alum)
James Poe (current App State student)
Caden Young (current App State student)
We loved hearing students' fresh perspectives and innovative ideas. It's always inspiring to see the next generation of construction professionals and their enthusiasm for the field.
Having recently completed a project on campus gave us a unique opportunity to show students what we do in a very tangible way. We could point right out the window and say, "See that parking deck? That's what you could be part of!"
A highlight of the day was when Rita L. Joyner, Ph.D., Dylan's internship advisor, stopped by our booth. It was great catching up and showing her how Dylan has grown with us since his internship!
