Woods Creek Elementary School is a 133,500‑square‑foot, state‑of‑the‑art educational facility designed to accommodate 736 students. The school features modern classrooms, play areas, outdoor learning spaces, and ample parking, with a campus layout intended to foster a cohesive learning environment through shared open spaces and separate drop‑off points for carpool and buses.
New Atlantic served as Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the project, which is situated on a 43‑acre site also planned for a future middle school. During construction, the team focused on optimizing functionality and site safety by carefully locating service vehicle entrances to minimize site navigation challenges and by supporting efficient traffic flow for students, staff, and visitors.
The school’s layout includes a two‑story classroom wing, a central area with shared facilities, and one‑story wings for specialized classrooms, allowing the building to efficiently meet a range of educational needs. This coordinated approach established the foundation for a dynamic educational facility designed to serve the community for generations to come.
