Designed by Creech & Associates and constructed by New Atlantic, the Yadkin County Government Center and Jonesville EMS Outpost represent a strategic investment in public service infrastructure. Located off East Elm Street in Yadkinville, directly across from the Courthouse, the new 13,500‑square‑foot Government Center consolidates essential county services into a single, accessible location.
The Government Center houses the Tax Office, License Plate Agency, and Information Technology department, with purpose‑built spaces supporting IT, cybersecurity, and GIS operations. This configuration provides residents with streamlined access to services without requiring a visit to the Courthouse, while maintaining proximity to related offices such as the Register of Deeds.
The Jonesville EMS Outpost replaces the aging Medic 2 facility that had served the community since 1983. The new station addresses longstanding structural and drainage issues and introduces enclosed bays for two ambulances with pull‑through access, improving safety and operational efficiency. The facility also includes living quarters for paramedics, supporting continuous 24/7 emergency response.
Together, these projects reinforce Yadkin County’s commitment to modernizing public service delivery while strengthening emergency response capabilities and community resilience.
